In 1999 AHAM started collaborating with Furman University with a Latin Music presentation and Dessert Reception, AHAM  members  bring regional desserts and savory dishes to share. Members also perform artistic presentations from various Latin American countries.

Each year, from mid-September through mid-October, AHAM participated in the celebration of the Hispanic month with organizations such as High Schools, the USC-Upstate, the Greenville Library System, Clemson University and private institutions.
